Deposit, cancelling and moving

These are the rules for your appointment. They are the same for everyone, and they are the rules the system applies: what you read here is exactly what happens.

The deposit

  • Your appointment is confirmed with a deposit of half the price of the service, paid by card or ATH Móvil.
  • The deposit counts toward the price of the service on the day. It is not an extra charge.
  • If the deposit is not paid within 15 minutes, the time is released for somebody else.

If you cancel

  • 72 hours or more before your appointment: the deposit goes back to the card or ATH Móvil you paid with, less the fee the processor charged for the payment. You are shown the exact amount before you cancel.
  • Less than 72 hours before, or not coming: the deposit is not returned. That is what it is for: it covers the time held for you that can no longer be given to anybody else.
  • You can cancel at any time, from Mi perfil, by phone or by message. We always confirm by text what happened to your deposit.

If you move your appointment

  • 72 hours or more before: you can move it yourself up to 2 times, and the deposit goes with it. To move it again, ask for the new date from Mi perfil or by phone: the studio confirms it, and until then your appointment stays as it is.
  • Less than 72 hours before: you can move it once, and the deposit goes to the new date. After that, changing it counts as a late cancellation and the deposit is not returned.

Processing fees

  • Card companies and ATH Móvil charge a fee to process each payment. The studio charges you nothing on top.
  • That fee is only taken off when a deposit is returned, because the processor does not give it back. Before you cancel you see the exact amount: what you paid, the fee, and what comes back.

If the studio cancels or has to close

  • If the studio cancels your appointment, or cannot open (a storm, for example), your deposit comes back less the fee the payment processor (the card company or ATH Móvil) charged, because that fee is not returned.

Paying the deposit means accepting these rules. The date and the text you accepted are kept with your appointment.
